imron Posted October 8, 2008 at 10:58 AM Report Share Posted October 8, 2008 at 10:58 AM I think it would be more like each side in an argument thinks that they are right, and they don't listen to the other side.
HashiriKata Posted October 8, 2008 at 11:05 AM Report Share Posted October 8, 2008 at 11:05 AM Agree with Imron! It also means each has his/her own reasons or point of view, depending on where they come from.
Scoobyqueen Posted October 8, 2008 at 11:13 AM Author Report Share Posted October 8, 2008 at 11:13 AM Thanks for your responses. That illuminates things. I am now curious to know who you might say lairie faire or neither here nor there. If you want to put across that someone is just talking nonsense or not getting to the point. I will post it here when I come across something that I think means that.

Scoobyqueen Posted October 8, 2008 at 07:06 PM Author Report Share Posted October 8, 2008 at 07:06 PM Hi Thanks for your response. It should be airy fairy. It is something that is up in the air and and not really define. You can also say "it is neither here nor there" which is used by politicians to counter the others' arguments.
