meghara Posted October 12, 2008 at 04:15 AM Report Posted October 12, 2008 at 04:15 AM Hi everyone, I'm studying on the Chinese government scholarship in Shanghai right now, but for some personal reasons would really like to move to Beijing next semester. So I have two questions about that. -- has anyone tried to transfer the CSC to another university? Is this even possible, and how would you go about trying to do that? -- Barring that, I'm thinking of applying for the Beijing Government Scholarship or for individual university scholarships. However, some of these mention that to be eligible, you can't have a different scholarship already. Can I forgo my current scholarship for one of these? Also, anyone know how difficult these scholarships are to get? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it. Quote
fanglu Posted October 12, 2008 at 10:20 AM Report Posted October 12, 2008 at 10:20 AM I've met one person who's swapped to another uni (and another course in fact). He was doing a degree though, not a language course. You should probably aim to talk to your scholarship office ASAP though, I doubt these things happen quickly. Quote
