Really Good 1 Month Intensive Chinese Course

Hi there, I am looking for a really intensive one month program from around mid-Oct to mid-Nov to really take my Chinese to the next level. I am probably an HSK 6 or 7 and need a total immersion environment that will challenge me otherwise I will end up slacking off and hanging out with foreigners. I took a course in Kunming at the local university and find the teaching from the textbook aimed at foreigners to be unstimulating, undemanding, and too slow. On the other hand, I am not motivated enough to learn totally on my own or with my own tutors - I need a push. Any other alternatives? I would like to live in BJ or SH ideally but open to other places as well if they fit my criteria. Many thanks!

I have been on several short-term intensive courses (3 weeks) in Beijing. I took six hours a day with additional homework of 2-3 hours daily. On weeekends I attended lessons for 3 hours a day. All the lessons were conducted one-to-one (so you cant escape the immersion as it were).The course was designed for my needs and hourly tuition fees ranged from 10-15 Euros.

I deliberately stayed away from foreigners which I feel is essential if you want a complete immersion environment. I rented a normal flat as well and had to organise this myself.

My school was run by some young dynamic Tsinghua graduates and I thought it worked well although we also used the text books but at least with one-to-one lessons the teacher quickly hones in on your needs and can track progress much more easily.
