crouchingdragon Posted October 19, 2008 at 04:11 AM Report Share Posted October 19, 2008 at 04:11 AM Please can some one help me translate the far-right vertical-column of characters on the attached PDF file. The PDF file is a description of Lang Shih-ning famous painting, "One Hundred Horses", which is in Taipei's GuGong. My Chinese skills are poor. I do not know the top character. Below then his name, Lang Shih-ning, I believe. Below his name is bai = 100 , next the character ma =horse. Immediately adjacent to ma is a character I don't recognize. Then the remaining two characters in the column I do not know. Thanks in advance for the help. One Hundred Horses.pdf

skylee Posted October 19, 2008 at 04:58 AM Report Share Posted October 19, 2008 at 04:58 AM Looks like people usually translate 駿 to fine/spirited horses or simply horses. You could take a look at these threads for reference -> http://cdict.net/?q=%C2@ http://www.baidu.com/baidu?ie=gb2312&cl=3&ct=1048576&word=%F2E http://dict.cn/big5/search/?q=%C2@
