HashiriKata Posted October 31, 2008 at 11:28 AM Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 at 11:28 AM I know of a name of that meaning (or very close to it): 祥子 The character 福 alone is also a very appropriate sign for such a name.
ziegphy Posted October 31, 2008 at 11:38 AM Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 at 11:38 AM 福娃:lol: In fact the 福 and 祥 are both behind the times. And few people use them in names now.
HashiriKata Posted October 31, 2008 at 11:45 AM Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 at 11:45 AM In fact the 福 and 祥 are both behind the times. Right! So let's modernise the name a bit: What about 阿祥 ?
ziegphy Posted October 31, 2008 at 11:54 AM Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 at 11:54 AM Maybe you can use "瑞"

HashiriKata Posted October 31, 2008 at 05:20 PM Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 at 05:20 PM my dogs name is lucky I did guess right in my previous post, so 阿祥 is the name to pick. Are you going to have the tattoo done on the dog? You'd better ask it to sign the consent form first, ok?

daofeishi Posted November 1, 2008 at 02:58 AM Report Share Posted November 1, 2008 at 02:58 AM (edited) I suggest tattooing "小弟弟不听话" - it expresses love for your dog in Chinese. I would also put it somewhere visible. Like on your forehead. And then you should go to China and learn that putting a semi-permanent message, undecipherable to you, on your body might not be a smart thing to do - the hard way.
