Nephelae Posted November 4, 2008 at 09:02 PM Report Posted November 4, 2008 at 09:02 PM OK, so, for school I have to find the word for "Cheers" in as many languages as possible, with the correct spelling in the original language, the English pronunciation and the meaning. If anyone could help it would be great. Any language or many as possible please. It going to look like this: Hebrew- To Life- L'Chaim- לחיים Armenia- To You- (missing pronunciation)- Ձեր կենացը՜ And so on.... Quote

gerri Posted November 5, 2008 at 08:03 AM Report Posted November 5, 2008 at 08:03 AM German: Prost (with a long o, derived from the, sometimes also used, prosit: Latin for "be well"). I'm sure there's a few websites - "howtosayin" in something like that... Quote

liuzhou Posted November 5, 2008 at 10:28 AM Report Posted November 5, 2008 at 10:28 AM Zhuang Gun Lo (It means something like - please drink. I have no idea how to write it "correctly", nor do most Zhuang people. Zhuang is almost exclusively a spoken, rather than written, language - like most languages.) Quote
