skylee Posted November 5, 2008 at 04:14 PM Report Posted November 5, 2008 at 04:14 PM In Cantonese we have this word 畀 (bei) which can take the place of 被 in the sentence of #1. Maybe the writer is Cantonese who was not very careful with his subjects/objects. Quote
