包括 pronounced "bao1gua1" in Taiwan?

I swear at times I hear people pronouncing this 包括 as "bao1 gua1" instead of the standard "bao1kuo4". Is this considered correct in Taiwan? Is it due to 台語 influence?

Never mind.. it is indeed different in Taiwan, just found this in the list of different pronunciations. It sounds horrible to my ears for some reason haha.
