Using an APEC Business Travel Card

I have come across APEC Business Travel Card, when looking for more information about Chinese visas. (For more info http://www.businessmobility.org/ )

Has anyone had experience using this type of Visa before?

It works nice, you can use special counters in some countries, China, Tokyo too. For China you get 3 years visa free entry.

What's the length of stay restriction though? Does sound handy, didn't know these existed.

not sure about length of stay. I think it was 60 days. But maybe more or less.

Note that this card in ONLY for business people, and they do check. Those that apply in Hong Kong need to be permanent residents too, and you don't get automatic China clearance.

Maximum stay in China is 60 days, but it removes the visa requirement for a number of other countries as well (and allows a stay of up to 90 days in some). Would be absurdly handy if you do travel frequently between the countries that are members.

Thanks for the link - I'll pass it on to my boss (mostly he goes to Australia, but it could be handy for him anyway).
