Harbin Short-Term Stay

i will be studying at bincai language school- which is near HIT- beginning in january, and would like to know about apartment rental costs / availability, preferrably (but i guess not necessarily) nearby.

alternatively, does anyone know of any decent, reasonably priced hotels where i could stay on a long-term basis ?

i expect to be in harbin for 6 to 8 months atleast. thanks.
