jamesp Posted December 28, 2008 at 08:14 AM Report Posted December 28, 2008 at 08:14 AM I have several DVD's with mandarin subtitles. For some of them, I can locate a mandarin .srt file online and then convert it to pinyin so that I can watch the movie with pinyin subtitles. However, for the rest, I am unable to locate an appropriate .srt file. Is there a way to create a mandarin .srt file from a DVD with mandarin subtitles? I can extract the subtitles as images (they are not burned into the video), but I have no way to create an .srt file from the images. Presumably, they need to pass through a Chinese OCR program first... Thanks, James Quote
