FromMars Posted January 16, 2009 at 12:20 AM Report Posted January 16, 2009 at 12:20 AM (edited) I'm new here. I don't know if it's a good way to start, but lets just say I think I may have various questions to ask occasionally and am hoping it's ok I just use this thread to ask any new questions. Of course, I'll understand if this is sorta bad... Anyway, I'll ask what's on my mind at the moment. I have this sentence... 怎麼會在你這呢? These type of sentences confuse me, with how the word order feels jumbled around and not how I'm used to. Does this mean something along the lines of "just what are YOU doing here?" or something like that? That's all for now until I found out if this type of thread is OK Thanks in advance Edited January 16, 2009 at 04:53 PM by imron Quote
imron Posted January 16, 2009 at 04:56 PM Report Posted January 16, 2009 at 04:56 PM You're welcome to ask as many question as you like, however different questions should go in different threads. Quote
xiaocai Posted January 16, 2009 at 05:18 PM Report Posted January 16, 2009 at 05:18 PM 怎麼會在你這呢? I think it means "why (this thing) is with you?" or "why you have this?"... Quote
FromMars Posted January 17, 2009 at 03:32 AM Author Report Posted January 17, 2009 at 03:32 AM Thanks. I think you got it. Sorry if I didn't provide any necessary context by the way. This comes from a script for something and I don't know the exact situation it was used in. I'll be sure to make new topics if I have any more questions Quote
gorcey Posted February 4, 2009 at 08:00 AM Report Posted February 4, 2009 at 08:00 AM 怎么(这个东西)会在你这呢? it means"how come you have this?" "how come it's with you", he's quite suprised when asking this. 怎么你会知道的?怎么会有问题呢?......... Quote
