oceanacres Posted January 26, 2009 at 08:00 PM Report Posted January 26, 2009 at 08:00 PM I have several chinese (I believe) seals passed on to me by my Great-Aunt, who had a fondness for oriental art. Can anyone help point me in the right direction or tell me what this seal is? I thank you for your time. Quote

Hofmann Posted February 9, 2009 at 10:51 PM Report Posted February 9, 2009 at 10:51 PM How about I post an image. Here is my guess in Kaishu: And sethhsu, I don't think it's 光. Here is 光 in seal script: Quote
oceanacres Posted February 10, 2009 at 12:33 AM Author Report Posted February 10, 2009 at 12:33 AM Wonderful, thanks for the tips...I can see now! The right side symbol looks the same as the bottom left symbol at this link: http://www.president.gov.tw/en/s_page/great_5.html It's a beautiful dragon made of Jade (I think) that is in a lovely case. I do appreciate all the info and effort of help.... Many thanks... J Quote
