Gleaves Posted November 25, 2010 at 01:28 AM Report Share Posted November 25, 2010 at 01:28 AM This is not an srs2subs deck, but it does contain 2400+ sentences with Chinese audio. The content is pulled from smart.fm using using an anki plugin. The deck contains sentences with Chinese audio, traditional Chinese characters, pinyin, and English. No pictures. The pinyin is auto-generated, so there are a few errors. It focuses on vocabulary and language often found in news media. Anki "Chinese Media" Deck from Smart.fm (iKnow). 2400 cards. 85MB. megaupload link - dropbox link
LA Guy Posted November 25, 2010 at 03:47 AM Report Share Posted November 25, 2010 at 03:47 AM Hi Gleaves, Thanks for the link to the anki zip file. I was able to download the 84mb file and unzip it I tried to import the anki file into version 1.01 of anki for windows and got this error ( I don't see the option to Check the Database ) I feel that the anki file might not be compatible with this version of anki ? An error occurred. It may have been caused by a harmless bug, or your deck may have a problem. To confirm it's not a problem with your deck, please restart Anki and run Tools > Advanced > Check Database. ( I DONT SEE THIS OPTION ) If that doesn't fix the problem, please copy the following into a bug report: Traceback (most recent call last): File "ankiqt\ui\importing.pyc", line 199, in doImport File "anki\db.pyc", line 101, in all File "anki\db.pyc", line 90, in execute File "sqlalchemy\orm\session.pyc", line 753, in execute File "sqlalchemy\engine\base.pyc", line 824, in execute File "sqlalchemy\engine\base.pyc", line 874, in _execute_clauseelement File "sqlalchemy\engine\base.pyc", line 896, in __execute_context File "sqlalchemy\engine\base.pyc", line 950, in _cursor_execute File "sqlalchemy\engine\base.pyc", line 931, in _handle_dbapi_exception sqlalchemy.exc.DatabaseError: (DatabaseError) file is encrypted or is not a database u'pragma integrity_check' [] Thanks, LA Guy

Gleaves Posted November 26, 2010 at 07:28 PM Report Share Posted November 26, 2010 at 07:28 PM LA Guy - I ran the check databse and check media databse before I exported, so I thought it was okay, but something might be off. I'll have a look when I get back home in a few days. If you shutdown and restart anki, you should see the advanced options right in the tools menu. If you cannot see those options, then I am not sure what's wrong.
