dalaowai Posted February 21, 2009 at 02:54 PM Report Posted February 21, 2009 at 02:54 PM Hey everyone, I'm looking for KTV software that can kind of emulate the KTV experience on my computer. Has anyone downloaded this kind of software? something that can manage and organize avi, rmvb, mpeg, etc. Thanks! Quote
heifeng Posted February 21, 2009 at 05:11 PM Report Posted February 21, 2009 at 05:11 PM hmmm. No, I for one haven't downloaded such software. how much of the 'experience' can it emulate?? Quote
BrandeX Posted February 22, 2009 at 02:59 PM Report Posted February 22, 2009 at 02:59 PM There's a ton of "karaoke" software on the net, search for that instead of KTV, you can, if you wish, get something pretty complete via bittorrent. Quote
weregoingunion Posted March 10, 2009 at 02:19 AM Report Posted March 10, 2009 at 02:19 AM Do a google search for "CDG karaoke" I don't know a whole lot about it but basically you combine an mp3 and a CDG file which is probably similar to a subtitle file. It looks like there are a lot of different choices of programs that will play these files. I just noticed this CDG format because recently a homebrew program was released for the nintendo wii to turn it into a "karaoke machine", but I haven't tried it. Good luck finding songs and let me know if you find any good resources! Quote
andrewkooi Posted March 10, 2009 at 03:45 AM Report Posted March 10, 2009 at 03:45 AM You could try KaraFun at: http://www.karafun.com/karaokeplayer/ If you want additional bells and whistles, you could purchase KaraFun Studio from the same site. Quote
