badatpool Posted July 9, 2004 at 03:03 PM Report Posted July 9, 2004 at 03:03 PM If you’re interested in modern art in Beijing, probably “798 factory”(No.4, Jiuxianqiao Road, 798factory, Dashanzi,Chaoyang District, Beijing./postcode 100015) is a good choice for you. It used to be a big factory, but there’re many galleries and studios there. Wish you luck in finding some good works in Beijing. By the way, now there’s a good photograph exhibition called “humanism in China” in national museum of fine arts .Unluckily, it will end tomorrow. Quote
niubi Posted July 28, 2004 at 05:02 PM Report Posted July 28, 2004 at 05:02 PM 798 factory has a photo gallery called 798 photo gallery (actually a friend of mine works in the photo lab and in the gallery). Quote

niubi Posted August 31, 2004 at 04:16 AM Report Posted August 31, 2004 at 04:16 AM that's nice to post the news, however the title of this particular thread is "modern art". Quote
bhchao Posted August 31, 2004 at 08:25 AM Report Posted August 31, 2004 at 08:25 AM I know, it's off-topic, sorry Well the Met does feature modern art, so does the Museum of Modern Art. Quote
