James Garrison Posted February 24, 2009 at 10:46 PM Report Posted February 24, 2009 at 10:46 PM I've got a question about a sentence I found on Chinese yahoo. 又有韩国女星裸体合成照网上流传! Most of it is understandable to me: Yet again there are photos of a South Korean female celebrity circulating on the internet! What does "合成照" mean here? I looked it up in a dictionary and all I got was "compound, mixture", but that seems not right. I've found Chinese yahoo to be a lot more... "racy" than the English version. But hey, I'm just trying to build my vocabulary! For example, it took me a few days to figure out that "fensi" didn't refer to "glass noodles", haha. Cheers for any help! Quote

zhwj Posted February 25, 2009 at 04:50 AM Report Posted February 25, 2009 at 04:50 AM "photomontage" in that dictionary definition is more commonly known as "photoshopping" these days, particularly in descriptions like the one you mention, for "photoshopped celebrity nudes." (Moderator: feel free to obfuscate that phrase to avoid unwanted search traffic... Quote
