Yang Rui Posted March 4, 2009 at 02:06 AM Report Posted March 4, 2009 at 02:06 AM Would anyone be interested in a forums meet-up in Hong Kong some time in March? I'm not sure how many forummers there are here but it would be good to have a get-together for the southerners. I moved with my job from Shanghai to Hong Kong a few months ago. It's not somewhere i ever envisaged living, but now I'm here I like it a lot, especially the greenery and less crowded areas which were amazing to discover after coming from urban Shanghai. I do miss speaking Mandarin though... If anyone out there is interested, post here and we can arrange a time and place. Quote

flameproof Posted March 4, 2009 at 02:54 PM Report Posted March 4, 2009 at 02:54 PM especially the greenery and less crowded areas This made me 笑, it's not often mentioned in connection with Hong Kong. I'll be off to Shanghai soon though. Quote
wushijiao Posted March 4, 2009 at 03:15 PM Report Posted March 4, 2009 at 03:15 PM Actually I'm the same way. I go on hiking trips just about every weekend. HK has some great mountains and natural beauty! Much better than flat as hell Shangahi (although it's a nice city in many other respects). Quote

wushijiao Posted March 14, 2009 at 04:31 AM Report Posted March 14, 2009 at 04:31 AM No further interest in doing a meet-up sometime? Quote
Yang Rui Posted March 14, 2009 at 09:25 AM Author Report Posted March 14, 2009 at 09:25 AM Sorry for neglecting this. I'm still interested. I've got time next weekend (21st and 22nd) and the weekend after. Flameproof - would you still be interested despite being about to move to Shanghai? Quote
