I went as far as ni hao Thanks a bunch. Mar
self-taught-mba Posted March 8, 2009 at 02:24 PM Report Share Posted March 8, 2009 at 02:24 PM Well, There is our training center where you can learn Chinese in Beijing if you need a school. Look around here, there are a ton of websites out there. I good book might be good for some basics btw. What it says is this: Hello. How are you? I've only studied Chinese for a few days. Now my Chinese is certainly better than yours. Hope I can see you soon. Take it easy. Please try to understand what I am saying. Wish all goes well/smoothly. trevelyan Posted March 9, 2009 at 03:52 PM Report Share Posted March 9, 2009 at 03:52 PM You should write him back and tell him you can't understand what he's saying. Perhaps he could say it in Chinese? You're welcome to check out what we are doing at Popup Chinese. Lots of resources, most of which are free.
