imron Posted March 11, 2009 at 11:19 AM Report Posted March 11, 2009 at 11:19 AM (edited) 《天下无贼》我可以负责任地告诉你,黎叔很生气,后果很严重 (starts at about 0:39 in). Not typical (then), but absolutely classic. Edited March 11, 2009 at 02:50 PM by imron 的/地 Quote
crazy-meiguoren Posted March 11, 2009 at 02:08 PM Report Posted March 11, 2009 at 02:08 PM This topic has piqued my curiosity. In the movie, "60 Million Dollar Man", one of English subtitles is "I scare nothing! Even you become napkins!" I have a hard time believing that this is an accurate translation. What did the character really say? One of the villains said that line. Quote
carlo Posted March 13, 2009 at 02:42 AM Report Posted March 13, 2009 at 02:42 AM This doesn't really answer your question, but what about looking at the dialogues in Stephen Chow's 功夫? A lot of villains, and you get Cantonese and Mandarin for the price of one. Quote
