Chinese input after Windos Live Messenger update not working anymore

Hi,

probably a simple one, but I'm too stupid:

After I updated to the latest version of Windos Live Messenger a few days ago (Version 2009 - Build 14.0.8064.206), the Chinese input (MS Pinyin IME 3.0) doesn't work properly. Chinese input still works anywhere else, for instance Skype. I tried playing around with the fonts, no success. Does anyone know, how to fix that?
