laser2302 Posted March 20, 2009 at 06:38 AM Report Posted March 20, 2009 at 06:38 AM Hi everyone, I need help to understand a phrase in the following paragraphs. Thanks! Hanlink Posted March 20, 2009 at 07:10 AM Report Posted March 20, 2009 at 07:10 AM Breaking the sentence into parts might make things easier: 3G这团火 = this fireball [called] 3G 烧得 = burns such that 人实在有点难耐 = people really [find it] difficult to bear, presumably meaning that people cannot help but get excited by the idea of 3G. The writer then take the 'fire' idea further, saying 3G is the best place to warm yourself during the telecom industry's winter. Quote
