yonoid Posted March 20, 2009 at 09:57 PM Report Posted March 20, 2009 at 09:57 PM I've looked high and low, throughout the internet and at my university's library and I still can't find satisfying answers. I would like to know how they went about digging and building the Grand Canal in ancient China. What was the process they went through and what problems might they have encountered? Quote
JenniferW Posted March 23, 2009 at 10:43 AM Report Posted March 23, 2009 at 10:43 AM Look at the website for the CHINA HERITAGE QUARTERLY, an academic journal of the Australian National University. Then search with it for articles on the Grand Canal. You'll find that in 2007 one issue focused on the Grand Canal, so there are several articles on it. Quote
