wai ming Posted March 30, 2009 at 08:24 AM Report Posted March 30, 2009 at 08:24 AM (edited) Hi all. I was wondering if there were any Chinese specific resources relating to assessment under the ILR (Interagency Language Roundtable) scale. I am interested in examples of what would be expected under each level of the scale or sample tests, if they exist; alternatively, any examples/sample tests of what would be expected under other scales with ILR equivalents. I might have the opportunity to attend a Mandarin immersion course later this year which requires an existing proficiency of Level 2. Having read general descriptions of the ILR scale, I think I would have the required proficiency... problem is, it's been so long since I've studied Mandarin (formally or informally) that I'm not really sure of whether I have that level of proficiency or whether I'm really overestimating myself I have looked at http://www.govtilr.org/ which has general descriptions of what is expected, and also found this Chinese Mandarin DLPT 5 guide, which has a few examples. I've also found some good resources at http://gloss.lingnet.org/. Does anyone know of any other resources? Grateful for any responses Edited March 30, 2009 at 10:01 AM by wai ming added another resource I'd found Quote
