atitarev Posted March 30, 2009 at 10:50 PM Report Posted March 30, 2009 at 10:50 PM Is 日喀则 (日喀則) pronounced Rìkèzé or Rìkāzé (a city in Tibet, China)? I've seen both. Are both possible or only one? The ABC dictionary only gives one reading of 喀 - kā. There are a few ways to write it in English: Shigatse, Xigazê, Rikaze, Zhigatsey. Quote
