Help with a sentence

I didnt understand what does the first sentence mean? can 什么 and 吗 be used together like this?

请 把 菜单 给 我们 。

Even though it sounds grammatically incorrect, it's often used in speech.

The point is in what follows 些什么(or is, as in this case, omitted).

What the sentence actually implies is: 你们要点些什么菜吗? quite similar to 我们必须做些什么准备吗?

As you can see, nothing wrong with grammar here.
