roddy Posted February 4, 2010 at 12:29 PM Author Report Posted February 4, 2010 at 12:29 PM Woot. As I've said, I'm not a user of either service, so if they stop working or there's anything I can do to make them move valuable, let me know - there's no chance of me noticing myself. Quote
liuzhou Posted February 12, 2010 at 01:16 PM Report Posted February 12, 2010 at 01:16 PM The Twitterfeed feed seems to have stopped feeding. Haven't had anything for a couple of days. Quote
roddy Posted February 13, 2010 at 10:19 AM Author Report Posted February 13, 2010 at 10:19 AM This should be working ok now - it won't pick up on the stuff it missed, but new topics should be tweeted. I don't follow twitter, so thanks for the heads-up. Had changed the Twitter password, but not updated it on Twitterfeed, hence the stalling. Quote
liuzhou Posted February 13, 2010 at 10:43 AM Report Posted February 13, 2010 at 10:43 AM Yes, back again! Quote
roddy Posted July 8, 2010 at 10:13 AM Author Report Posted July 8, 2010 at 10:13 AM Couple of Facebook things. 1) It's now possible to link your forums and Facebook accounts, or for new members to sign in with their Facebook log in. There's also a Facebook 'like' button at the bottom of each topic and . . . maybe some other stuff. To link your account, members can look for this page under Settings > Profile. With Facebook being blocked in China, China-based members are going to need a proxy to join in the fun. 2) Thanks to Facebook being a pain in the neck, I can't get at the forum Facebook page. I'm likely going to have to set up a new one. Apologies to our 100+ existing fans. Quote
natra Posted July 8, 2010 at 02:59 PM Report Posted July 8, 2010 at 02:59 PM The link to the Facebook fan page is not working for me. Is anyone else having this problem? Quote
roddy Posted July 9, 2010 at 06:47 AM Author Report Posted July 9, 2010 at 06:47 AM Well, thanks again Facebook  I don't know what's happening, but as I'm going to have to try and set up a new Facebook page shortly anyway, I wouldn't worry about it. Log in and integration with Twitter is now enabled. Look for the Sign In with Twitter button next time you log in (and once you've signed in to Twitter associate that log in with your forums account) or click here and follow the instructions. Quote
