Pleco keyboard question

Hi,

I've a question on Pleco. When I use the keyboard function, the letters and the numbers are on different screens. So, to tap in "ren2", I need to tab r,e,n on the screen, then tab the button "123" to bring up the numbers screen to tab "2". I am wondering whether there's a way to have the letters and the numbers on the same keyboard screen. Thank you.

Still, am a big fan of Pleco.

Pleco doesn't have a keyboard (edit: Pleco 2 has one on the input screen, but it has the numbers) - that will be the keyboard for your device. What phone / PDA and operating system are you using? Is there an icon at the bottom of the screen to show / hide the keyboard? Try holding that icon, it might let you choose other keyboards.

Oh, I didn't realize that the keyboard I see on the screen is set up by the phone company, and not Pleco. I use an HTC. They do provide 2-3 keyboard options, but none of them allows for a one-screen letters and number combination and you'll always need to switch back and forth. Thank you, anyway. I may need to consult HTC directly.

If you have Pleco 2, there IS a keyboard you can use - didn't know about it, but just found it. Click and hold 入 in the top menu. Select bottom. If an input panel doesn't appear, tap 入 and it should. Then click on the bottom left icon (笔,部, etc) to cycle through different options until you see the keyboard.

You forgot about the dishwasher and maid Roddy!!!

Also Sukitc you can change your sip (thats the on screen keyboard) to allow the letters/number combination so it looks more like a normal keyboard... I am not sure about the model youre using but there are options there somewhere and also you can add another sip if you like (xda developers is a good HTC phone site that has loads of info and bits of software for ALL the HTC phones..)
