hello,

im trying to find out what the text is on this jar i have?

I believe the large ones are related to seasons of the year?

but can anyone read the cursive signature??

I am lousy at this, but until someone else corrects me, I am guessing the rightmost character on the vase is 風 (wind) and that its neighbor is 雨 (rain). Unfortunately, my luck's out after that.

But wait, my 太太 just got home. She says the last two are 歸 (return) and 牧 (herd). So she says it's something like "Returning from herding in wind and rain." I can't trouble her with the signature, but there you are for the 4-character phrase.

can anyone translate the cursive signature and seals? this is the important part.

theres a famous republic painter called wang bu, but i dont think this is by him,

yet i do not know of anyone else with the skill to paint this jar.
