xiexieniii Posted May 4, 2009 at 11:34 AM Report Posted May 4, 2009 at 11:34 AM (edited) I've found three schools in Beijing that seem all right: Chinese Language Education (http://www.chinaledu.com), University of International Relations (http://www.uir-cie.com), and International Students Center (http://www.iscbeijing.com). The prices are extremely cheap -- 15,568 RMB or around $2,200 for 12 weeks of intensive study at UIR. I wonder if the programs are so cheap because they are not good? Has anyone had experience with these particular schools? I am also open to studying in other cities such as Shanghai or even in Taiwan. Does anyone know of any good, intensive summer program in China? Edited May 6, 2009 at 12:44 AM by xiexieniii Quote
xiexieniii Posted May 13, 2009 at 10:23 AM Author Report Posted May 13, 2009 at 10:23 AM I've been doing some internet research for a few weeks and have come up with a handful of schools offering intensive summer courses. The tuition for 10-week programs at these schools range from $1500 USD to $3000. The courses describe 6-hour per day classroom instruction, Monday through Friday. Are these reasonable rates for classroom instruction? Also, can anyone recommend a good school? BCLU only has a 1-month course and I am looking for something over 2 months. Quote
