typing 女nü and other " : " characters using pinyin on a mac

There is a definite difference between typing nu and nü, and I still havent been able to find out how to to type the nü on my mac yet. I can get 路 lu but not 率 lü. Any suggestions? Thx in advance

Figured it out--I just happened onto another thread that mentioned it in passing.

For those that were wondering, use a v instead of u (nv = nü ; nu = nu)
