tooironic Posted June 6, 2009 at 07:43 AM Report Posted June 6, 2009 at 07:43 AM Has anyone heard of the Chinese bigfoot or 野人 (yěrén)? For some reason the only OK clip I can find on the internet is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHsUCATbWpg which is a bit freaky but the video and audio is all out of synch. There's a photo of its supposed cave on wikipedia too (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Yerencave.jpg) with some cool calligraphy. Quote
Music&MeForever Posted June 6, 2009 at 10:43 AM Report Posted June 6, 2009 at 10:43 AM Probably a bunch of freaky Westerners whose visas expired and they ran out of cash just when they discovered China is the place to be. So they come up with this fabulous idea and are now roaming about in the wilderness ... "Visitors to China should be aware that Chinese regulations strictly prohibit travel in "closed" areas without special permission" ... Quote
abcdefg Posted June 7, 2009 at 03:49 AM Report Posted June 7, 2009 at 03:49 AM Has anyone heard of the Chinese bigfoot or 野人 (yěrén)? I've heard that some are supposed to inhabit the cave country near Pu Zhe Hei 普者黑 in Southeast Yunnan, near Guangxi. But as a previous poster commented, they are most likely just expat English teachers gone wild. Quote
