Zhuping Posted June 8, 2009 at 05:47 PM Report Posted June 8, 2009 at 05:47 PM Hi I searched the Internet, and found two ways for payment in taobao for international payment, paypal and alipay. Patpal has its own version in China, which is dfferent from the international one. In the Chinese version, only chinese consumers can send and accept payments. If you want to use the international version, you need to ask the shop owner(from the mainland, China) whether thryare willing to accept money that can only be used through Paypal, because it will cost a huge amount of money to withdral cash from it, As for the alipay, if you are outside China, you need a visa card, but there are many litmits when the shop owner is, again, in the mainland. Taobao Dude Posted June 9, 2009 at 02:46 AM Report Posted June 9, 2009 at 02:46 AM Yo dudes. Don't stress. If you are outside of China, it is not really possible to buy on Taobao yourself. But there are good services (called Taobao Agents) that can help. Check out buying on Taobao from overseas Quote

HSBC is not one of them, they only accept Chinese banks. Quote
