Chankovsky Posted July 19, 2004 at 02:52 PM Report Posted July 19, 2004 at 02:52 PM Does anyone know how I can compress a file so that it will download faster. I'm having to spend huge amounts of time to download a song. Quote
benotnobody Posted July 23, 2004 at 07:47 AM Report Posted July 23, 2004 at 07:47 AM You cannot compress a file whilst it is downloading onto a remote machine. Once it is on your computer, you can compress it using one of several different compression methods. (You could ZIP it, or, if it was just a song, encode it into Ogg Vorbis or something. But more importantly, this is a CHINESE forum, and I think it is somewhat inappropriate to be discussing the distribution of pirated music. Despite being completely irrelevant, it is ILLEGAL. Quote
Quest Posted July 23, 2004 at 08:08 AM Report Posted July 23, 2004 at 08:08 AM 不打自招! but I agree. Quote
benotnobody Posted July 24, 2004 at 03:31 AM Report Posted July 24, 2004 at 03:31 AM 不打自招 Sorry if this sounds horribly ignorant, but doesn't 不打自招 mean to make a confession without being pressured? That sounds a bit odd in this context. Quote
