xiexieniii Posted June 9, 2009 at 09:59 AM Report Share Posted June 9, 2009 at 09:59 AM I downloaded the OpenVanilla input program for the Mac, but I can't seem to find the application. I ran the install package and it restarted my computer, but when I search for "OpenVanilla" in Finder, nothing shows up!
imron Posted June 9, 2009 at 11:30 AM Report Share Posted June 9, 2009 at 11:30 AM Use FIT or QIM QIM is better, FIT is free. Just checking out the QIM page now, it seems they have an update that allows for 五笔! And it uses the 极点 database! Now there's no need to have FIT at all :-) If you really want to use OpenVanilla, you need to go to: System Preferences -> International -> Input Menu and enable it. I really recommend QIM though. It's worth the price of registration, but also has a very generous trial period (10,000 characters).
