The guards in the car park below me yell what I've always assumed to be 倒 as people are backing into spaces. Seems kind of unnecessary, particularly to say it so loud I can hear it through windows on the 12th floor, but all part of the service . . .

The funny thing is they will yell 倒 regardless of pedestrians (i.e. me) crossing behind the car...

I didn't notice that grunt noise, but just recall trucks that play "Lambada" while reversing.
