Which is the right pronunciation of 成绩 ? Is it cheng2 ji4 or cheng2 ji1 or both?

Different dictionaries seem to disagree on this.

OK, I am checking with a few other dictionaries now, and it seems there is at least a majority in favour of cheng2 ji4.

Middle Chinese homophones to 績 are ji1 in Standard Mandarin. You ask, which is the right pronunciation? I'd say ji1, but I'm wrong according to a lot of people.

I remember very clearly that in elementary school we were taught that it pronounces as Cheng2 Ji1.

But nobody ever says it like that, everybody goes with Cheng2 Ji4, and they'll think you're too nerdy if you go with cheng2 ji1. I think some people don't even know about the cheng2 ji1 option.

Where have you been? I do have heard that as well. Some Chinese can't tell that themselves. But we sometimes pronon cheng2ji0
