A "stoner" is someone who gets "stoned" regularly, or is "stoned" all the time. "Stoney" sounds like something you would call a "stoner". The worst "English" name used by a Chinese that I've ever heard was "Stiffy". Which is even worse than "Stoney". An English name is supposed to help you interact with English-speaking people by giving them a name that they can easily pronounce and remember. It can be unusual (as long as it's easy to remember), but it shouldn't be something silly. Just a thought. hmmm, sticking to the stone theme: Just plain Rocky lee. It's a very unforgetable name and then you can go into how your name has all those 石 in it... Just a thought.Although Stan is short for Stanley, it can also be used as a name in its own right. So normally stonelee should just introduce himself as "Stan", and when necessary, he could add that his surname is "Lee". English speakers would then think of "Stanley" but know that it is "Stan Lee". Wouldn't this make the name more interesting and memorable?
