reallych1932 Posted June 23, 2009 at 12:55 PM Report Posted June 23, 2009 at 12:55 PM I'm thinking of going to China to teach this summer (I would like to stay 2-4 months). Is it too late to get a summer job/visa Anyone got any ideas/suggestions of schools hiring Any advice on Visas Quote
muyongshi Posted June 24, 2009 at 05:59 AM Report Posted June 24, 2009 at 05:59 AM My bet is it's too late as school's are getting ready to get out or already out for vacation meaning that the summer programs have already pretty much started or are starting in the next week. Quote
roddy Posted June 24, 2009 at 06:04 AM Report Posted June 24, 2009 at 06:04 AM I'd say there's time - there's always a scramble for summer teachers, and people don't turn up / drop out. However those who haven't organized their teachers by now are unlikely to be in the best locations, paying the best money, or the best . . . organized. And given that summer schools are a gamble at best . . .tefl.com, eslcafe.com, thebeijinger.com, see what you can find. Even ads that appear to have expired may be worth trying. Quote
