reallych1932 Posted June 25, 2009 at 12:34 PM Report Posted June 25, 2009 at 12:34 PM I recently started studying the book 'Learning Chinese' by Alison Matthews. It uses memory techniques, like visualisation ot help you remember Hanzi(a bit like Heisig) Does angyone know where I could find a list of gthe different components (what heisig calls primitives) on the web. Preferably as a mnemosyne/ supermemo file. Ideally with drawings and descriptions. This would include more than just radicals. P.S Anyone know if a volume 2 is coming out Quote
doctorcolossus Posted August 11, 2009 at 09:01 AM Report Posted August 11, 2009 at 09:01 AM Anki has a deck of Chinese radicals available, created by Nick. However, so far as I've been able to find, there's nothing available in the way of flashcard databases specifically for the Matthews book yet... oddly enough, as it's excellent IMO. According to newyorkeric, in this thread: I contacted the publisher of the Mathews' book. He said volume 2 will be released in 2009 or later. Not such a problem for me because I plan to apply their technique on my own after I get through the 800 characters in volume 1. Quote
