abcdefg Posted June 28, 2009 at 09:45 PM Report Posted June 28, 2009 at 09:45 PM I've searched the forum under ANKI and under ZDT, but still could have missed the answer. Been using ZDT during the semester. Want to import my ZDT words into ANKI for SRS review over the summer. Could you please tell me how to do that? Kindly keep it simple: I'm not very tech savvy. Thanks. Quote
kongli Posted July 14, 2010 at 04:36 AM Report Posted July 14, 2010 at 04:36 AM Hey! I know this post is old but I figured I'd post how to do this just in case anyone was still stuck. I have a mac, I bet it probably differs a bit on a PC but I think it should be able to work. 1. Open up whatever category you want to import. 2. Copy all definitions and words 3. Paste into word document 4.Save the document as a Plain text file. 5. A box will open and you should select the encoding format as UTF8 6. Open your Anki and open a new deck 7. Make sure the 'mandarin' input is on, not just 'basic' 8. Go to file import 9. A box will come up and just press the input button Hope this helps someone cause it took me like 2 hours to figure it out. But I am not really good with computers soooo.... Quote
