This is correct but you may consider saying something like 他修车的技术很好!

Chris:

For fun:

Nothing wrong but was it something he actually said? It probably would sound better,

Would sound better as 假期你喜欢做什么?or 假期,你 [打算] 怎么度过?

This sentence could be interpreted as two ways, what you normally do or what you are planning to do on this vacation. And I would consider rephrasing it depending on what you are trying to communicate. If it is more about leisure time consider using 休闲时间 and saying 常常做些什么?

Chris:

Not sure what you mean by 在外面逛逛. Just say 在外面 but if you are trying to communicate the outdoors then use 户外. But 逛逛 wouldn't be used appropriately in that context.

The usage of the 一边,一边 construct doesn't fully work here. It would be better to say

Chris:

Not incorrect but would be better said as 每周都要去吗?

Can't say 一个次. it would be 一次. Best said given a time frame like this: 每周一次 or combining the last phrase in 每个星期五都要去一次.

However 颐和园 would be better described as 名胜古迹 rather than 风景.

Chris:

Chris:

那个修车的人 -> Doesn't this mean "That guy who repaired a car", when Zhenni is meant? Perhaps it should be something like 刚才那个人,or 说你会修车的那个人?

Doesn't this mean "That guy who repaired a car"

It can mean it but it doesn't necessarily mean it. Like if I was describing 那个说法语的人, doesn't mean "the guy who spoke french", it can also mean that guy who speaks/can speak french. So in this case it's the man that fixes cars=sloppy way of saying mechanic
