More hacking of the Chinese language...trying to send a text message.

I am hoping to convey, using not-too-complicated Chinese: "maybe it will be many many years before I start working as a doctor, so you had better let me use my student loans now to invite you to lunch! Just kidding...anyway, that's fine, I understand. I hope you soon visit New York."

I also tried to say, "My sentences only seem fluent because I have a lot of Chinese-speaking friends that I constantly bother." Maybe this? “...因为我总是打扰我会说中文的朋友。”

Hi! Your sentences are fine, but just a bit unnatural i guess.

I think you can try this:

您要是觉得我的中文不错, 那是因为我总是麻烦我的中国朋友帮助我.

If you think that my Chinese is good, that's because I ask/bother my Chinese friends to help me all the time.

等我当上大夫还要好长时间呢. 所以现在还是让我请一次吧, 用我的学生贷款. 希望您可以早点儿来纽约.

It'd still be a long time before I became a doctor. So please let me treat once now, using my student loan. Hope that you'll visit New York soon!

I would drop the "用我的学生贷款" bit in this phrasing, especially as the "开玩笑" bit in the original is no longer there.

Not to mention the fact that if you say you'll be using your loans, it is almost certain that he will insist even more strongly to pay.

And maybe add: 我是说真的。别跟我争了。
