teaching and\or studying in Shangqiu, Henan

hey,

i have some questions regarding both studying and teaching in Shangqiu (商丘).

i'm new here, and i couldn't find an answer in the forums. so here goes:

my girlfriend and i have just finished a year of studies in Harbin and were looking for places to keep on studying. on top of this i was hoping to teach some english at the same time. my girlfriend does not plan to wrok and wants to study full time.

I got a job offer from the Huayu college of Henan Agricultural university (河南农业大学华豫学院). it seems like a standard normal contract for a foreigner teaching english.

so:

1. does anyone knows anything about this place?

2. where can one study chinese in shangqiu. that school (huayu) doesn't seem to have a program.

if it is of any importance - our level of chinese would probably be considered as intermediate (my classmates all got HSK 6~9. i didn't take the test).
