Food expenditures for a student

I will be coming to Beijing in Sep for 16 months of study. Hence I need your help to plan expenditures so that I could financially better prepared .Please help me with these questions.

1.What are the stanadrd food stuffs for locals?

Zhou,Mian, Jian Bing,

2. How much does a normal day food

Breakfast - {Items} - {Cost range , (Low, Avg, High)}

Lunch - {Items} - {Cost range , (Low, Avg, High)}

Dinner - {Items} - {Cost range , (Low, Avg, High)}

Sancks {Items} - {Cost range , (Low, Avg, High)}

3. If one were to live like a local chinese student, what would be the monthly expenditures? i.e 2000RMB, 3000RMB, or more.

4. Since many of your are already living and studying in Beijing, if you could pass any tips, do, and don't, that would help me,
