Lively Kunming forum?

Hi,

I've noticed here that even the first page here dates way back to 2007,

and there isn't that much of an exchange, but I've been unable so far to find an active web forum from expats/students in Kunming. gokunming I've discovered already and is useful but it's not exactly a forum either. Since there are so many foreigners in Kunming surely there must be somewhere where they discuss things, vent off, ask etc ?

There are more recent posts under the “schools and places to study” section.

This forum and GoKunming are the only two live discussions of which I'm aware. GoKunming usually has some rants and vents, but isn't very useful for exchanging information. It does have good classified ads, however.

I've lived there most of this year as well as part of last year.

Thanks for the replies. I am just a bit of an Internet junkie and love to read other peoples opinions, questions, reports, or complaints about Kunming. I like GoKunming for the local news, but a really lively, everyday active forum is what's missing for me.

I have no specific questions currently, but will certainly ask when I can think of one.
