hi everyone

i'm the creator of two offline programs (Windows) designed to convert hanzi into pinyin, jyutping and other forms of Chinese Romanization. They are both free, and can both handle hundreds of characters at a time.

I'm calling one of them ChineseTransliterator-Original Formatting version, and the other the Reading Display version. The first one can do up to 5 different Romanizations in parallel, and lets you choose the pronunciation you want when a word has more than one pronunciation, eg (zhōng or zhòng for the character '中'). The second one currently only converts to pinyin, but the results are formatted for easy reading. Both of them also give you English definitions when you double-click on a character. You also get to choose whether to have the results with tone numbers, accent marks, or no tones.

If interested, please go to www.chinesetransliterator.com. :)

and apologies for the clumsy names, they were the best I could come up with:oops:
