nx9105 Posted August 1, 2009 at 10:38 PM Report Posted August 1, 2009 at 10:38 PM As we know find out something in a formal way about PCR is extremely hard. I suppose this community can be helpful. If anyone knows how is organized China's secondary school graduated exam (in my country it names Matura - en wikipedia, I am looking for something such like this) please help me. I am specially interested in possibilities of making this without going to the school. Can people take this exam “extramural”? My question is linked with case of girl which live outland of China and needs this document to stay in Europe at University. I will be very grateful for any response. My mail is bobpoz10 in gmail account. Quote
BrandeX Posted August 2, 2009 at 05:13 AM Report Posted August 2, 2009 at 05:13 AM Sounds like you are referring to what we refer to in North America as a GED. I am not familiar if they have an equivalent in China, but you can take GED at some international high schools in China, and it is available in HK. You must be fluent in English to take this test. If you are, there is also online high school options available where you could get a diploma. It may just be easier for her to go to high school instead depending on her situation. Quote
nx9105 Posted August 2, 2009 at 11:01 AM Author Report Posted August 2, 2009 at 11:01 AM Thank you for answer but problem is still not solved. Situation is a little bit more complicated. I'm worker at one of the Music University in Poland, and by exams in China (China Service Center) we obtain group of 20 students who will be study our Bachelor degree program, everyone of them (18-19 y) finished secondary school with diploma. There was a girl 15 years old, really outstanding playing level, and we forced to take her here - in case of thousand Euros deal the had to agree. And the problem started. She is really not fluent in English and more important to her is learning our language now, so I don't see possibilities to take any exam in English (e.g. SAT, IB, or GED). In my opinion best solution is send her China back only for taking public secondary school exam (or something what allow to study at higher level of education). Here starting my questions, is possible that: she study here, learn what's she need, going for few days to China, taking exam in Chinese and coming back with diploma or she have to go school there? Native citizen will be enormously helpful. We all very much worry about this case, because it is her chance of life for having career and high level education. If we will not manage it, she will be sent to China in 3 years and he won't certainly get the second opportunity of the departure. As I recognized there are simple rules: one man one chance. Each our contact with Department of Chinese Education finishes same way – please send official inquiry by post in Chinese... Sorry for my English, is hard to me write what I want to say. Quote
