Trustworthy Occupations in China

I'm wondering if anyone else saw this story:

Out of curiosity I thought I would look for more information to see whether it was credible. So I found the Chinese version:

and then thought I found the referenced website that had a poll that had a similar title to the one seemingly described in these stories, although I felt the results didn't seem quite to agree:

I also couldn't find the China Daily editorial, although maybe I didn't know how to search very well.

Did anyone see this story? Did I take a wrong turn the info superhighway somewhere (due to my inadequate knowledge of Chinese), or misunderstand the poll, or is something inconsistent here?

在对49类不同群体的诚信度调查中，结果显示:农民、宗教职业者、性工作者、军人和学生被选为本年度最讲诚信的五个群体。房地产老板、秘书、经纪人、演艺明星和导演排在末位，成为诚信最差的五个群体。

调查的结果令人意外:原本在社会中拥有较高社会声望的职业群体，如科学家、教师，在本次诚信调查中的信用度都很低，不及学生，更不及农民、宗教职业者，甚至不及性工作者。大学教师原本应该作为引领社会变革的精神领袖，但这一年里，媒体不断曝光的学术腐败导致了这些群体的信用度急剧下降。从浙江大学到西南交大，从辽宁大学到清华大学，从29岁清华毕业生当选市长到其导师被曝年赚超过1000万元……专家们指出，大学教师群体的诚信危机带给社会和未来的危害，丝毫不亚于向来最受网友关注的政府官员群体。

最令人意外的是，性工作者成为最讲诚信的群体之一，也因此引发了较大的争议。有网友在留言中因此而尖锐地质疑我们这个时代整体的诚信水平:“最诚信的职业中包含‘性工作者’，可见中国的诚信已沦落到什么程度！”

Thanks. I thought probably there must be something to it, but the similar but different result I found seemed mysterious.
