Martial Arts around PKU

I'm going to be studying Chinese at PKU this year and I want to keep my martial arts traininng up. I'm looking for some type of fighting Tai-Chi or Wing Chun. Does anyone know of any good places around Haidan Street? Thanks.

I'm not in China anymore so I don't know, but if no one here can come up with something then go to this forum to post your question. Many of the forum members on this kungfu magazine forum either train in or have trained in China and might suggest something:

There's a 北京大学武术协会 - can only find a Wikipedia type page for them, no actual website. However . . .

和一些汉语水平比较好的留学生也来参加武协的晚练周练以及各种兴趣班。武协的会员联谊活动中也经常有外国同学的身影。甚至还有一些留学生参与我们的集体项目排练，并在各种场合进行表演。我们日常训练的场地选择在对外汉语教育学院楼前的空地上，也是在潜移默化地进行武术的宣传。

so they shouldn't be that hard to find, and if they don't suit I'm sure they'd have ideas about other places to try.

At the beginning of the semester, most of the PKU clubs try to recruit new members by setting up tables on the road next to the southside of Peking University Hall (北大百年纪念礼堂). Look for the guys wearing the white martial art Gi's.

If your Chinese is not good enough to ask them questions, you can just drag someone over from the English Club table to help you.
